Nicole D is a mother of 5 and wife to one. She fills her time as a childbirth educator, doula, and activist in her community striving for mother-friendly, woman-centered health care. Since 2000 she has assisted women in pregnancy, labor, and birth by educating and supporting them. Previously certified with the Bradley Method, Nicole now has her own childbirth curriculum, and trains, through apprenticeship, other women interested in pursuing a career as a doula.

Shelly is a mother of two girls and has been married to her husband for three years. She is a birth and postpartum doula and is currently studying to become a childbirth educator. Shelly is also active in her local La Leche League and Baby Wearing group and is homeschooling her two children.
